Have you tried making Sushi Roll?

Today’s activity was making sushi rolls. Our sushi specialist Yasuko told students how to make it!

今日のアクティビティは巻き寿司作りで、寿司作りのスペシャリストYasukoさんに教わりながら、みんなで挑戦しました!

1. Cut vegetables, mix tuna and chopped onion with mayonnaise, mix natto with green onion.

野菜を切る、ツナと玉ねぎをマヨネーズで混ぜる、納豆とネギを混ぜる。

2. Place the seaweed on the bamboo mat called “Makisu” and spread the sushi rice on it. Then place your favorite ingredients.

のりを「巻き簾」という竹のマットの上に置き、寿司飯を広げる。その上に好きな具材をのせる。

3. Lift and roll the front end of Makisu and the seaweed to the other end of the seaweed. Arrange the shape of sushi roll and finish rolling.

巻き簾の手前とのりを持ち上げ、のりの上へ巻き上げる。形を整え、巻き終える。

4. Cut sushi roll!

巻き終えたら切って完成!

Everyone tried for the fist time, but did really well!!! And it was very delicious!

みんな初めて巻き寿司作りに挑戦しましたが、すごくうまくできました!!!おいしかったですね!
