HARD OFF!

Sorry, what is it that you want to buy? …In fact, you don’t even need to tell me, just go to HARD OFF!  Japan doesn’t have much of a second hand culture but this shop seems to be an exception.

Hard Off 1

There are two shops within this company, BOOK OFF and HARD OFF.

BOOK OFF is full of CDs, DVDs, books and comics both new and second hand. They also store a few second hand smart phones.  There is one BOOK OFF store only 3 mins away from Lexis Japan! This is a great place to buy cheap Japanese manga as a gift for yourself or your friends!

Kobe, is lucky enough to have a HARD OFF Bazaar, which basically means it’s a massive Hard Off.

hard off 2

It has games consoles, musical instruments, cameras, televisions, DVD players, household items, clothes, surfboards, ski and snowboard gear, all sorts of hiking and camping kit. Sorry, I don’t know why I started to make a list. Let’s just assumes that if you’re looking for something, you’re pretty likely to find it there.

But if you’re looking for a bargain, why not buy it in Hard Off and then give the money you saved to a charity of your choice! Or buy a little present for a friend who is feeling a bit sad.

Have fun!
