Name Stamp Making 消しゴムハンコ作り

On the otherday, we made “Hankos” (name stamps) for the afternoon activity.

Ww wrote write letters on an eraser with  a pencil, then engraved letters with a cutter knife.

It was such a detailed task that everyone was silent while concentrated on engraving it.

Maria san is so skillful that she made two extra stamps in Korean! She said “I do not have to sign any more when I use a credit card!”

It took only 30 minutes for them to finish making their stamps. Silvia san, Stephanie san and Maria san stamped their names on their Japanese poems. Their handmade stamps made their artwork look much better!!

Maria san made her name stamp with heart marks!! That was so cute!!

Everyone did a great job making stamps!!
