【Luminarie】Kobe event this weekend

Kobe’s big event called “Luminarie” will be held this weekend.

Luminarie is a festival held every December since 1995,

after the Great Hanshin Awaji earthquake. It attracts many tourists to Kobe every year.

It will be start from around 5 o’clock to 6 o’clock from December 7th to 16th.

There are illuminations, projection mapping and street food,

a lot of people come and it gets crowded every evening.

The theme of this year’s illumination is “Let’s create new lights together”.

Actually the theme changes every year, so Illuminations of different colors and

shapes will be unique from those of previous years. That’s why you can enjoy this every year, and many visitors come again every year.

I have lived in Kobe for a long time, but I always make an effort to see Luminarie every year.

It is worth seeing even if the weather is cold, as it is really beautiful. In fact, when you see this spectacle, you will probably forget all about the cold!

I am definitely going to see Luminarie next Friday for an activity class.

I am looking forward to showing you the actual photos I am planning to take on the evening!
