Intensive Japanese FT / PT

Lexis Japan’s intensive Japanese Language course provides high quality tuition for all ability levels.

The Intensive Japanese course covers builds conversation, writing, reading, listening and grammar skills, with a strong focus on functional, communicative use of language. Classes are based upon a standard textbook, but are heavily supplemented with ‘real world’ materials to ensure that the Japanese you learn in the classroom is immediately useful for you in everyday communication, for business and for further study.

Full time classes are offered for 25 hours per week, while the part time (mornings only) class offers 15 hours per week.

Japanese Language Proficiency Test Preparation

Lexis Japan’s JLPT Preparation course is a rigorous, academically-focussed program designed to prepare students for each level of the JLPT. This course is most suitable for students looking to undertake further studies in Japanese in future, or who require a JLPT course for employment reasons.

Designed for residents of Kobe in particular, the Lexis Evening program offers a fast-paced and challenging curriculum for students who need to use Japanese in their day to day life.

With a focus on practical, ‘real world’ language use, this course suits both newly-arrived residents seeking a survival level course of study, or at a high level , long term residents looking to upgrade their skills for work or academic study. Students can select between ‘Japanese Conversation’ and ‘Intensive Japanese’.

In the morning, you’ll study a fast-paced and communicative focussed language class with students of a similar age.
